Our garden provides hands-on learning opportunities with QRC-based interactive (QRCI) science activity stations designed by New Mettle Farms.
Bring your QR Code scanner to access teaching videos for students that will kick-start four STEM activities exploring temperature, water conservation, solar orientation, and our garden's ecosystem.
Each stations offers a 15-20 min. hands-on activity for 4-6 students, grades 3-5th. Facilitator videos are included at each station. We recommended that an adult remain with each group to provide supervision and guided concept discussion. Preparatory handouts and expanded classroom science lessons are available for download. Activities and lessons are NGSS aligned.
